  1. Capacity: 1.200 kg  per batch, of Wire rod and Wire with low and high carbon steel. Only needs 10 min.  for loading and unloading with only one operator until 3 batches a day depending on process.
  2. Natural or GLP gas heated, with low gas-consuming burner at very low pressures (at water column levels).
  3. The extensive use of ceramic fiber makes the furnace extremely light (1.500 kg) allowing for the use of small cranes ( 2 tons)
  4. Use of exclusive  Sand Seal eliminates decarburization.

CALOR's exclusive design is extremely easy to operate with low costs and high efficiency shows in a lot of furnaces; some operating for more than 5 continuous years with no type of comlexity.  Some users have reported OPERTION COSTS of less than US$ 0.020/kg, using G. L. P. as fuel (The costs would be much less  using natural gas); they have reported, as well an excellent quality of Wire with diameters ranging from 0,3mm to 15mm in low (SAE 1006), medium (SAE 1020) and high (SAE 1070) carbon quality.  The descarburization levels are minimal, even without the use of atmosphere (Nitrogen or Vacuun)
